Terry Williams from Coventry University has done some useful and interesting research into defect analysis in new property and the role of the NHBC

His research led him to sample 32 properties , with a total of 4523 defects, there was a least 1 breach of building regulation in each property and a quick summary of the areas where snags were found is included in the table below.
